Many people have asked was is Fram? What does it mean? Why Fram Systems? Well, ‘Fram’, in Norwegian means ‘Forward’ and that is good enough on its own. But that’s not why I call my business Fram Systems. I named it after a most amazing little ship called the Fram. This amazing little ship endured astounding hardships thrust upon it by three famous artic explorers: Fridtjof Nansen — Nobel Peace Prize winner , Otto Sverdrup — who charted 200,000km2 of artic lands and Roald Amundsen — First man to reach the South Pole. So it is not only from the sturdy little ship that I take the name, but from the strong character of the men she served.
So please come with me on my exploration of the vast oceans of business where we will sail through both well charted and unknown waters to discover what makes our ships business enduring and successful with legacies as impressive as the little Fram.
